MASHANTUCKET, Conn. (AP) — Yes started their first show since the death of bassist Chris Squire with a tribute to him. Rolling Stone reports their concert on Friday in Mashantucket, Connecticut, began with a dark stage and a single spotlight on Squire’s signature white Rickenbacker bass. Photos of Squire played on a screen while Squire’s song “Onward” played. According to the report, “Grown men wept aloud.” The band then took the stage and kicked off the show with “Don’t Kill The Whale.”
