LAUREL, Md. (AP) — Styx have met with the scientist who discovered Styx. Styx the band visited NASA’s New Horizons team in Laurel, Maryland, on Wednesday and met with Dr. Mark Showalter, who discovered Pluto’s faintest moon, also called Styx, in 2012. Showalter is a fan of the band and turned the tables on them by giving them an autographed poster of Pluto and its moons. New Horizons principal investigator Alan Stern told the band, “When Pluto’s moon was named, it was for the river Styx, but no kidding, we really had you guys in mind too.”
