Former NBA star Darryl Dawkins was fond of remembering that it was Wonder who gave him his nickname “Chocolate Thunder.” Dawkins has passed away. He was 58 years old — and in a recent interview, he took pride in the fact that Wonder gave him the nickname after sensing that Dawkins had such unique talents on the basketball court.
