If it rains the inflatables, craft show, music, kids activities, and mural painting will be moved inside the Wing School. Food trucks will remain outside, but folks can get food and bring it inside to eat it. Kayak tours will not operate. Car show will go on as best it can. Paintscaping will go on rain or shine at night.
Celebrating 375 years of incorporation, Sandwich is where Cape Cod begins. Settled in 1637, incorporated* in 1639, it is the oldest town on Cape Cod. Sandwich’s dynamic community both loves and embraces the town’s rich culture, proud heritage and pristine beauty.
Therefore, to showcase Sandwich’s 375th birthday celebration, they will offer a variety of gatherings, concerts, lectures, festivals, artistic and educational endeavors, museum exhibits, and additional celebratory events throughout 2014 for all Sandwich residents and visitors to enjoy.
Water Street Wing Fling is a two day event with activities to take part in each day like Hot Air Balloons, car shows, craft shows, LEGOland, Paintscaping and more! Most events are free and they’ll have plenty of food trucks to try out as well as plenty of craft tents to check out.
