CLEVELAND (AP) — For as tough as Joan Jett is, she cried while accepting her induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Jett’s black mascara ran down her face during the ceremony in Cleveland Saturday. The two surviving Beatles, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, jammed out together on “With A Little Help From My Friends” for Starr’s induction. Bill Withers, another inductee, rarely performs in public anymore, but he helped sing “Lean On Me” with John Legend. Green Day, Lou Reed, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble, the Paul Butterfield Blues Band and The “5” Royales were also inducted. The ceremony will be broadcast on HBO May 30.
