SANTA YNEZ, Calif. (AP) — According to authorities, David Crosby hit a jogger with his car in Southern California. The California Highway Patrol says Crosby was driving his Tesla electric car Sunday, on a road in the Santa Barbara area where he lives. Crosby hit Jose Jimenez, who was jogging along the right side of the road. The man suffered broken bones, cuts and bruises but is expected to survive. The CHP says Crosby was going about 55, the speed limit on that road. Authorities say he was driving toward the sun with limited vision. The CHP statement adds neither drugs nor alcohol were factors in the accident. The 73-year-old Rock and Roll Hall of Famer stopped and cooperated with authorities.
