AUSTIN, Tex. (AP) — Can you find clues to Patty Griffin’s breakup with Robert Plant in her new album, “Servant of Love”? Maybe, but even she doesn’t know what the album is about. Griffin says it’s like reading a poem: “It’s not clear to you but it makes you feel a certain way.” Griffin won’t talk about the relationship, but she acknowledges she wrote the album while going through “a lot of losses.” She says she’s realized “a lot of seeds just ain’t ever going to come up.” ”Servant of Love” is out today.
