CHICAGO (AP) — With the smell of marijuana in the air at the Grateful Dead’s final shows in Chicago this past weekend, you’d think the cops would have been busting people left and right. Chicago police made all of three marijuana-related arrests. The Chicago Sun-Times reports police made one arrest for possession of cannabis on Friday and wrote two tickets for possession of cannabis on Sunday. A police spokesman says officers instead focused on fighting violent crime and addressing illegal guns in the community.
