UNDATED (AP) — Maybe you know actor Christopher Lee from his Dracula movies, his “Lord of the Rings” films…his metal albums. His what? In 2010, at the age of 88, Lee recorded a heavy metal album called “Charlemagne: By The Sword and the Cross.” He followed it up with an album titled “Charlemagne: The Omens of Death” that featured Tony Iommi of Black Sabbath. Lee is one of the convicts caught in the spotlight on the cover of Paul McCartney and Wings’ “Band on the Run” album. He also famously introduced Meat Loaf on “Saturday Night Live” in 1978 by saying, “I would like you to meet….Loaf!” Lee died on Sunday at the age of 93.
