Woods Hold Community Hall
Comedian Jimmy Tingle returns to Woods Hole on Saturday, June 28th at 8 p.m. to perform in the 2nd Annual Woods Hole Film Festival Benefit at the Woods Hole Community Hall, 68 Water Street, Woods Hole. Last year’s sold out show was a highlight kick-off of the summer season. This year, Tingle returns with his new show “Making Comic Sense of 2014”.
Born in Cambridge, Tingle’s career spans three decades, as a comedian, writer, actor, filmmaker, activist and entrepreneur. He rose up from the Boston comedy boom of the ‘80s, the scene that launched Denis Leary, Bobcat Goldthwait and Paula Poundstone.
Tickets are $25 for the show only or $40 for premium seating and a Meet & Greet following the show. They are available for sale in advance online at www.woodsholefilmfestival.org and at Eight Cousins Bookstore, 189 Main Street, Falmouth (508) 548-5548.
