OTTAWA, Ontario (AP) — Bono is taking a day off from the U2 tour to take in meetings with Canadian lawmakers. Bono was in Ottawa yesterday to talk with Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper as well as opposition leaders. Bono wanted to discuss foreign aid and maternal and child health aid projects in Africa and in other areas. Harper’s office says Bono requested the meeting.
