INDIANOLA, Miss. (AP) — Stevie Wonder says B.B. King will “forever be the king of the blues.” The tribute to his fellow musician was one of the many featured at King’s funeral this past Saturday. Wonder didn’t attend; his recorded statement was played to the congregation at a church in King’s hometown, Indianola, Mississippi. Country singer Marty Stuart also paid tribute to King, saying he had created a musical legacy for the home state they share.
