In fact, she’s turned talking into a career that started in high school in the ‘80’s. Proud to have been born and raised on the Cape, Kristie got her on-air start at Sandwich High School’s, WSDH, and acting in Cape Cod Radio Mystery Theater productions (broadcast on NPR). Her summer job during college was on air at WKPE/Cape 104. People have actually been crazy enough to hire her to be on the air in New Bedford, Indianapolis, Boston, Baltimore, Voice of America/Europe, New York City and Washington, DC. Kristie was also the host of the nationally syndicated radio show ‘All Nite Café’
Whether voicing a commercial or on-hold message, being a DJ on the radio, singing the National Anthem at baseball games or acting in a local production, Kristie has always enjoyed giving life to any project that needs a voice. She lives with her husband, two mostly perfect children, 2 cats, 2 guinea pigs and a newt (oh, and don’t forget the dust bunnies…).
Her “happy place” is spending a summer day floating, uninterrupted in a raft on Spectacle Pond in E. Sandwich.
