The all-female cast makes fun of their woeful hot flashes, forgetfulness, mood swings, wrinkles, night sweats and chocolate binges. A sisterhood is created between these diverse women as they realize that menopause is no longer The Silent Passage, but a stage in every woman’s life that is perfectly normal!

“Most women know intuitively that every other woman is experiencing hot flashes or night sweats,” says author Jeanie C. Linders. “There is always a close friend or two who can sympathize or identify, but when they are sitting in a theatre with hundreds of other women, all laughing and shouting ‘That’s me! That’s me on stage!’ They know what they are experiencing is normal. They aren’t alone or crazy. It becomes a sisterhood.”

• Dave Read or a substitute morning host will begin the contest during the morning show each weekday (only) in the 9:00 am hour, however any calendar holiday may be excluded at any time. The gift certificate award may be given away in another hour during the Morning Show.
• The host on Ocean 104.7 will pose a trivia question to listeners and may repeat the question and supply clues several times. The host may also challenge the listener to answer or respond in a different form during the morning show in order to win the prize.
• The first person with the correct answer who calls the station line will receive a $30.00 gift certificate to The Roadhouse Cafe in Hyannis
• The contest is based in the Morning Show, while ambiguous questions and challenges are not generally posed, the station will make the final decision on correct answers. All station decisions are final.
